I'm a busy single mother of two. I'm pretty much a stay-at-home mom during most of the week, but I also work full-time overnight on weekends as an Oncology and Hospice nurse. I've never been lucky enough to get anything the easy way, but everything works out the way that it's supposed to and I am incredibly blessed by my beautiful children, my supportive family and friends, and the many gifts and talents God has given me to enjoy and to use to benefit others whenever I can.

 

     From the Ashes is my first of many novels yet to come. I am working on a potential trilogy that I am very excited about and actually started before From the Ashes. I put that project on hold because, even though I love the story and feel like it offers entertainment as well as valuable lessons, I felt like From the Ashes was a more important story to tell. I wrote it to maybe help make the world a better place for my children, but it turned out to be extremely therapeutic for me and gave me peace and closure with my past.
